It seems some son of a scum sucking syphilitic donkey managed to embed some malware on my site,

and rather than sift through the three hundred odd posts to find it, I wiped the old database and files and reinstalled the WHOLE SHOW, sans posts.

I am, needless to say, not thrilled by this.

I would highly recommend that you upgrade your browser to Firefox 3. It is, in part, due to the strengthened phishing and malware filtering built into the newest version that I became aware of this unhappy circumstance (IE never made a peep).

Lesson Learned

This is a primary reason for vigilance and maybe a little vigilantism on the Internet.

I owe thanks to Google for confirming the infection and notifying me. Whether you’re aware of it or not, there are people (and computers) looking out for you on the Internet.

Keep a weather eye out and your guard up.
